From LEF Executive Director Danielle Nadler
After 14 years, it’s time for a change. The Loudoun Education Foundation is unveiling a vibrant new logo that captures both our growth and our enduring commitment to Loudoun County's students and educators.
Our redesigned look reflects our mission and our partners who champion our work. The striking lightning bolt symbol pays homage to LEF’s Fueled program, which tackles student food insecurity with the same energy and power represented in that dynamic flash of orange. This isn't just a design choice—it's a symbol of the spark we help ignite in every student we serve.

The bright, energetic colors speak directly to our K-12 audience. We want our No. 1 clients – LCPS students – to see themselves in these bold hues. And the goal behind the clean, modern typography is to appeal to our generous business partners who make our work possible. It's professional enough for the boardroom, vibrant enough for the classroom—just like the LEF team.
You may also notice a thoughtful nod to the Loudoun County Public Schools logo in our design choices. This connection is intentional and meaningful, reflecting that LCPS students and educators are at the very heart of everything we do. We're proud to be their charitable arm, and our visual identity now reflects that partnership more clearly than ever.
After more than three decades of serving our community, this new look represents not just who we've been, but who we're becoming as we continue to grow our support for LCPS’ 82,000 students and 13,000 educators and staff.
Sometimes a fresh look is exactly what you need to power forward into the future.
