Formerly known as Backpack Coalition, Fueled is a student-centered food security program ignited by LEF’s mission to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
We provide for students both through meal bags and in-school pantries, serving more than 40 schools throughout Loudoun County.

Through creating community connections, thoughtful product sourcing, and swiftly responding to critical needs, Fueled works to create equitable opportunities for LCPS students.
We strive to empower students from historically marginalized populations by providing culturally appropriate foods through dignified means.
With the generous support of our donors, volunteers and partners, the Loudoun Education Foundation supports more than 2,000 students and their families each week through meal bags and in-school pantries.
Nutritious meals are the foundation for children's development, education, and overall well-being.
Volunteer
Join LEF in our mission of empowering LCPS students to reach their full potential. Volunteers are essential to Fueled's operations, and we could not provide this support without the generosity of our community members.
Volunteer opportunities include 1) meal pack events for individuals or groups, 2) delivering pantry items to schools, or 3) host a food or hygiene drive. For private group volunteer events, please complete this form.

Host a Food & Hygiene Drive
We are always accepting donations! Consider hosting a food or hygiene drive with your office, neighborhood, school, team, or organization. You may host a drive for any length of time. Once it is completed, contact us to schedule delivery arrangements.

Your monetary donations to LEF's Fueled program goes further than your trip to the grocery store. LEF has more purchasing power because of our unique relationships with local food banks.
This means more students and families benefit.
