We believe in nourishing bodies so minds can grow.
Formerly known as Backpack Coalition, Fueled is a compassionate, student-centered food security program ignited by LEF’s mission to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
We provide for students both through meal bags and in-school pantries, serving more than 35 schools throughout Loudoun County.
So Students Can Focus on Learning
Fueled strives to empower and alleviate the traumatic stressors of food insecurity by swiftly responding to critical needs, creating community connections, and through thoughtful product sourcing.
We are especially passionate about empowering students from historically marginalized populations by providing culturally appropriate foods through dignified means.
With the generous support of our donors, volunteers and partners, Loudoun Education Foundation discreetly provides free weekend meals to more than 1,000 students and their families each week.
We believe that every child should have access to nutritious meals, which are essential for their growth, learning, and overall well-being.
This program not only fosters a healthy learning environment but also empowers students to thrive academically and personally.
Volunteer
Join us in making a difference in the lives of these students by learning more about Fueled, and discover how you can contribute to this vital initiative. Together, we can create a brighter, healthier, and more promising future for our community's children.
Volunteer opportunities include signing up as an individual or small group (as part of a larger pack event), signing up a larger group (as part of an exclusive pack event), or volunteering to deliver meals and pantry items
For our limited number of group pack events (18-24 attendees), we require all participant emails at the point of requesting a date. We are not able to hold dates while emails are being gathered, so please browse the available times prior to submitting a request.
Please note: The warehouse is located at 448 S King St, Leesburg, VA.

Host a Food & Hygiene Drive
The need has never been greater for our students. They should be focused on their education, not worrying about having enough food.
Molly, Dave, Lucy and Maggie helped support our students by hosting a snack drive in their neighborhood. You can do the same, in your office, church, neighborhood or social group.
We are always accepting donations! You may host a drive for any length of time. Once it has been completed, contact us to schedule delivery arrangements.
Download, print, and share our flyers to make it even easier!
