Last week, LEF arranged for a transformative learning experience for hundreds of middle school students at River Bend Middle School. Thanks to a generous donation from Equinix, Inc. Foundation, experiential learning nonprofit Learning Undefeated set up their mobile STEM lab outside of the school. Students explored topics including artificial intelligence (AI), the secret of electricity with Ohm’s Law, and the Mystery of the Crooked Cell – a look at the science behind diseases. This incredible experience also gave students the opportunity to learn alongside volunteers and tech professionals, who shared their passion for the industry in hopes of inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders. Equinix Foundation's $50,000 donation will also allow for Learning Undefeated to bring their mobile STEM lab to Sterling Middle School and Smarts Mill Middle School. #STEMeducation #handsonlearning #education #middleschool
