Google Investment in Loudoun County

In early June, Google announced its plans to open two data centers in Loudoun County and made a generous gift to our community through the Loudoun Education Foundation and Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. The $100,000 grant to the Loudoun Education Foundation will help sustain and expand the reach of our signature programs, including: after-school STEM programs, teacher training, classroom grants, and special initiatives like the LEF-LCPS Backpack Coalition.

“We are incredibly grateful for Google’s generosity and commitment to the success of the students and teachers in Loudoun County Public Schools. Their recent grant will allow the Loudoun Education Foundation to support both innovative and critical programs across the County,” said Samantha Courtney, the Loudoun Education Foundation’s Director of Development. “We are looking forward to welcoming Google to our community and building our partnership in the years to come.”
