Applications for Teacher Grants Now Available - Feb 2008.
As it does twice each year, the Foundation is seeking creative ideas for supplementing the educational experience in Loudoun County Public Schools. Fir the first time, the Foundation is offering grants up to $5500 for projects focusing on science, engineering, technology and mathematics ideas. Local Winemaker Gives $100,000 Endowment to Support Loudoun High School Science. - Jan 2008.

The Piedmont Community Foundation and the Loudoun Education Foundation are pleased to announce that they have received a donation of over $100,000 to support the science program of Loudoun County's public high schools. The donor is Lewis Parker, the owner and winemaker at Willowcroft Farm Vineyards, Loudoun's first commercial winery. For complete details, please see the Endowment Press Release.

Foundation Awards More Than $12,000 in Grants to Loudoun Schools - Jan 2008.
The Loudoun Education Foundation awarded over $12,000 in grant money to nineteen public schools in Loudoun County for the 2007 Loudoun Education Foundation Fall Teacher Grants program. Grants range from $125 to $500. For details, please see the Grant Press Release.

Excellence in Education Banquets Honor HS Seniors - Nov 2007.
The Loudoun Education Foundation raised over $40,000 for the 25th annual Excellence in Education Banquets which were held on November 11th at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia. This premier recognition event honored over 200 high school seniors from Loudoun County's ten high schools and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology who achieved a 4.0 or better grade point average during the first three years of high school. Also honored at the banquets were Loudoun County public school's outstanding educators, including the 2007 Agnes Meyer Award winner Sue Ann Gleason and The Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award winner Eric L. Loudoun Education Foundation Holds its Sixth Annual Golf Classic on Sept 24, 2007.

The Loudoun Education Foundation is pleased to announce its grant opportunities available to all PTO, PTA and other parent support groups associated with Loudoun County public schools. Parent Support Group applications for implementation during the 2007-2008 school year will be accepted through August 3, 2007. Grant recipients will be announced in August 2007.
